Rick Schwartz has recently sold the domain name 997.com . The price has not been disclosed at the time of writing this article.

According to whois records, the domain name was first registered May,1998.

According to TheDomains.com, the sale was several times larger than the highest domain name sale of the year, which is BGI.com. BGI.com changed hands for $235,000.

At the time of writing this article, the domain name resolves to a page displaying the following message : “Do you like this domain? Buy it today while it is still available!”
