ICANN’s Fellowship Program At The 55th Public Meeting In Marrakech

This year, on 5-10 March, it will take place, at the 55th Public Meeting in Marrakech, the ICANN’s Fellowship program with 45 participants chosen from 35 countries. Twenty-seven of these forty-five participants are fellows that attended at least one past event and different experience stages and the twenty-two that will attend for the first will be prepared by seven supplementary alumni of the program.

The chosen attendants are from different fields of society, namely government, technical, academia, civil, security, business community and end consumers groups. In addition, there is also represented the country code name that stands for the association.

The selection board evaluated 380 fellowship requests sent for this meeting among which 92 fulfill the minimum of requirements for the selection. Those who fulfill the minimum of requirements, are actual residents of growing and not so growing nations and showed interest in attending ICANN and its organizations, stakeholders, advisory committees and constituency groups.
