ICANN: Consolidating the NTIA IANA Functions’ Stewardship Transition Discussion

icann logoICANN has created a microsite for the NTIA IANA Functions’ Stewardship Transition. In an effort to centralize conversation from the “Stewardship Questions” mailing list, the site will provide a comprehensive and transparent platform for the global Internet community to find resources, discuss, contribute and collaborate on stewardship topics related to NTIA‘s announcement and intent to transition its role in the IANA functions.

Serving as more than an education tool, the microsite operates as a forum for community members to contribute to and stay up to date on the latest news and developments regarding the stewardship transition process. The community will also have open discussion forums available to them to share their perspectives on the stewardship transition with the Coordination Group after their formation later next month.

ICANN invites and urges the community to visit and become acquainted with the microsite here, as well as utilize it to provide information.

Please note that the selection process has already begun and will end at 23:59 UTC on 2 July 2014. The submission form is located on the microsite under “Coordination Group” for ease of access.
