Yahoo sold at DomainRoundtable auction Contests.com for $380,000 ,although many said the domain name had a much higher value.The interesting part was that the domain name ,Contests.com appeared in the auction for the first time just a day or two before.So,that makes us wonder when and why did Yahoo decided to sell the domain,without even putting out a press release.The only answer is that maybe Yahoo is more strapped for cash then we thought.
More,it seems that Yahoo has a new project,selling off domain it owns.
