The well known company,Victoria's Secret,which is an American retailer of women's wear,lingerie,shoes and beauty products, won the domain name victoriassecretoutlet.net through arbitration .
In the complaint submitted to the National Arbitration Forum,the company claims rights over the disputed domain name,saying that victoriassecretoutlet.net is confusingly similar to their mark .
The company represented by Melise R. Blakeslee has submitted evidence of federal trademark registrations for the VICTORIA’S SECRET mark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In the application they contended that the respondent registered and used the domain name in bad faith.
"Respondent is using the disputed domain name to redirect Internet users seeking Complainant’s good and services to Respondent’s website which features links to an online auction site purporting to resell Complainant’s goods. "
Because the respondent failed to submit a response in this proceeding and because the complainant managed to demonstrate all the elements needed,the Panel decided victoriassecretoutlet.net to be transfer from the respondent to the complainant .
