The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center announced that a rulling has been issued in favor of Verizon ,regarding rights to eight Internet domain names .
The eight domain names are : cerizonwireless.com,veriazonwireless.com,verizonvisaonline.com,verizonwoireless.com,verizonworeless.com,verizpnwireless.com
verizxon.com and veruizonwireless.com .
The company filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center earlier this year asserting legal rights over the disputed domain names .Verizon owns many trademark registration for the "Verizon" mark .Therefore,they contended that the disputed domain names are confusingly similar to its trademark.Moreover,they contended that the respondent,Zx Domains c/o Sezar Sak,registered and used the eight domain names in bad faith .
Because the complainant managed to demonstrate all the elements needed, and because the respondent failed to submit a response in this proceeding,the Panel ordered that the disputed domain names be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
