Tralliance,the registry for the .travel domain name space announced that it has changed the rules for domain name registration and will allow the release of one and two character .travel domain names.
Tralliance will be accepting proposals for for registration of premium one and two-character domain names starting December 1st.
Accepted proposals will pay normal registration fees .However,you have to come with great ideas on how you will promote your names and .Travel in order to get these premium domain names.

These names will only be released through proposal to .Travel."
Tralliance will release these ultra short,premium domain names in one or more phases.The first phase starts December 1st,2010 and ends December 31,2010 and will begin with the receipt of proposals.Than,Tralliance will have to decide which are the best proposals.However,Tralliance is reserving the right to allocate no name if they are not satisfied with the proposals .
