The Vietnam Internet Centre has recently announced that it has reached its 100,000 .vn national domain name.
This means that it became the second after Singapore in Southeast Asia for the number of national domain names.
Moreover,it seems that VNNIC reached its goal earlier than they expected.VNNIC expected to reach its 100,000 national domain name by the end of 2010.This only demonstrates the strong development of Internet in Vietnam.
Le Nam Thang ,the deputy minister of information and communications,said that 100,000 .vn domain names and 80,000 international domain names means a great development of Internet in Vietnam.
