Stephanie Weiner was recently named Neustar's Vice President of Legal and External Affairs .

"Stephanie Weiner joins Neustar’s Legal and External Affairs team to focus on Internet, Cybersecurity, and Telecommunications Issues.
Neustar, Inc., a leader in Internet and telecommunications information and analysis, announced today that Stephanie Weiner has joined the company as Vice President of Legal and External Affairs, a newly created position. Ms. Weiner will focus on Internet, cybersecurity, and telecommunications legal and policy issues. She will report directly to Neustar Executive Vice President of Legal and External Affairs, Scott Blake Harris.
“This is an exciting time of opportunity and growth at Neustar, and we could not be more pleased to have Stephanie bring her tremendous intelligence and wealth of experience to round out our already strong team,” said Mr. Harris.
Ms. Weiner comes to Neustar from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where she was the Senior Legal Advisor to the General Counsel. At DOE, Ms. Weiner provided legal analysis and counsel on priority matters including energy-efficiency initiatives, high-stakes litigation, legislative proposals, interagency coordination and regulatory reforms. In addition, she advised the General Counsel on strategic initiatives to improve the transparency, accessibility, and efficiency of the Office of the General Counsel and the Department.
Prior to joining DOE, Ms. Weiner was an Attorney-Advisor at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), in the Wireline Competition Bureau, Competition Policy Division. Ms. Weiner’s extensive telecommunications experience also includes four years at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Judge David Tatel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D. C. Circuit and Judge Milton Shadur of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois."
