A couple of months ago,everybody was talking about the next Final Fantasy XIII,when Square Enix rushed to fill a trademark for Final Fantasy XIII- 3 .Moreover,Square Enix also registered the domain name,prompting speculation about the launching of the game in the near future .
However,Akio Ofuku,Square Enire public relations agent explained recently that the company registered the domain name as a precaution,and not because they are working on a new game .
Akio Ofuku also said that he found out about the domain name on the Internet,and that Square's office in the United States are the ones who registered the domain name .
For Square Enix is preparing to launch Final Fantasy XIII-2 on PlayStation and XBox360 .
