In a quarterly report from Solar Energy Initiatives, under “Significant
Capital Expenditures” there is a note that US$1,650,000 was spent on
“the purchase of the domain name, solarenergy.com. We have used these
assets to begin our business operation.”
Checking out the domain name, the company describes itself as the
“fastest growing solar dealer network in the U.S.” It also offers its
products throughout the world, so the generic domain appears to be a
good purchase in marketing.
