Sofas.com was the biggest reported domain name sale in the week to
April 11, according to Domain Name Journal’s weekly listing of domain
name sales. Sofas.com was sold for $231,500 by RickLatona.com while the
number two sale, and only other six-figure sale, was CamRoulette.com
which was sold for $151,000 by DomainMadness2.
While they did not make the top two sales for the week, Sedo accounted for 13 of the top 20 sales. Other interesting sales were the top non-.COM sale was atelier.net ($30,000) and the top ccTLD sale was abendschule.de (€13,879/$18,875).
