Silicon Labs,a billion dollar company has lost control of a key domain name,Siliconlabs.com.
So,the company has filled for arbitration with National Arbitration Forum to get back its name.Having been established all three elements required under the ICANN Policy ,the Panel concluded that relief shall be granted.Obviously things should have been much easier by renewing the domain for $10.Instead the amount spent on renewing the domain was much higher.They spent about $1300 to National Arbitration Panel and legal fees were about $ 5000.,not to mention about the loss of the highly trafficked domain name for two months.
