SIDN,the company behind .NL,announced that it has a new office complex situated on the IJsseloord 2 Business Park in Arnhem.
You can read the announcement after the jump:"SIDN has a new domain: a new office complex on the IJsseloord 2 Business Park in Arnhem. Since its creation in 1996, SIDN has grown enormously. Having started out with a staff of 69, the organisation now employs about sixty-five people. Ever since ‘96, SIDN has had its HQ in the same offices on Business Park Arnhem, which was created in the 1960s. However, SIDN’s growth and continuing professionalisation ultimately made it necessary not only to secure more space, but also to adopt a modern working concept and to project an open, businesslike and professional image. In 2010, we therefore commissioned the construction of a new office complex.
Inspiring work environment
The new offices are intended to promote operational excellence, provide an inspiring working environment and allow scope for SIDN’s future development. They have also been designed with sustainability and the environment in mind. A range of special features – including solar panels, a thermal energy storage system, triple glazing and extra insulation – should dramatically reduce our energy consumption. We are proud to say that our attractive premises have consequently been awarded an A+ energy labellabel
A label is an individual element of a domain name or host name. For example, the name ‘www.example.nl’ has three labels: ‘www’, ‘example’ and ‘nl’.. In our new ‘home’, we will continue to work for the success of the .nl domain and a secure and accessible internet."
