Sex.com domain name will be up for auction in about one month from today .
If you want to bid on the auction you must have a $1,000,000 bank certified check made payable to "Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP, as escrow agent"
The auction will be held at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP, 156 West 56th Street, New York, New York 10019.
The auction description is : "All of Borrower's interest in and to all right, title and interest in an undivided 100% interest in the internet domain name and related INERNIC registration of the URL www.sex.com, and 100% of all cash proceeds, accounts receivable, licensing rights and intellectual property rights directly associated with or derived from the ownership of such URL."
According to the Adult Net Industry site XBiz.com, sex.com domain name was sold in 2006 for $14,000,000.The domain name was sold to Escom, LLC .
However,there was no confirmation that $14,000,000 number is accurate.
