Sedo,one of the most powerful domain name broker released its third quarter Domain Market Study.Sedo reported more than 20 million in sales in third quarter .
According to Sedo's third quarter domain name market study, .com remains the most popular domain name extension.74 percent of all domains sold are .coms ,while only 11 percent are .org and 8 percent are .net .
Moreover, .de and .co.uk extensions remain the most popular ccTLDs .However,the .de extensions claims more than half of the market share for all ccTLDs .
Even though the sales volume reamined stable sinnce the third quarter of 2009,there was a slight decrease from Q2 2010 in the number of sales in the third quarter of 2010 .
Offer-Counteroffer sales remained this quarter the most proeminent sales type.About 42 percent of all sales in this third quarter are offer-counteroffer sales.
