There are now almost 3,1 million .RU domain name registrations,according to the Coordination Center for TLD RU .More than 81,000 .RU domain names have been registered in the last couple of months.
In September 2010,there were 3,011,054 .ru domains ,while today there are 3,092,079 .ru domain names registered.
The Coordination Center for TLD RU reports that the number of .ru domain name registrations increased year over year from 2,436,042 in October 2009 to 3,011,054 in September,2010 .
This is yet another indicator of continued strong growth in the .RU Top Level Domain, with more than a half million domain names having been registered since October 2009.
