By unveiling the project signboard at the development site, SIDN has given the start signal for construction of its new office complex on the IJsseloord 2 Business Park in Arnhem.
Having outgrown its current premises, SIDN decided to seek larger and more modern accommodation, capable of providing scope for future expansion. IJsseloord 2 was judged to best meet these criteria, as well as being strategically located beside the A12 motorway. The new accommodation is expected to help optimise the working environment at SIDN and to facilitate the recruitment and retention of personnel. The structural and interior design of the complex will additionally take account of the need for excellent facilities, flexibility and the best possible security.
SIDN’s new premises should be ready for occupation by the end of 2011.
