International Olympic Commitee wants to sue ICANN regarding the new TLD's.
In a letter to ICANN ,International Olympic Commitee (IOC),stated that they want to “take action against ICANN for damages resulting to the IOC or the Olympic Movement from the implementation of the gTLD proposal.”Therefore,they are worried about what can ICANN do.In the letter ,IOC sustain that its trademark have special status.They even want for ICANN to reserve its trademarks in domain names.It's strange how lately everyone thinks they should get special rights for their location names:Pope didn't want religious top level domains,nations and cities believed they have rights to their location names and so on.
After all,the inevitable is bound to happen.
