Nominet has sold six short domain names for a total of $40,000 .NFPAS Auctions conducted the auction on behalf of Nominet on 15th and 16th March 2011 .
The auction featured five .co.uk domain names and one .org.uk domain name .
The following domain names were auctioned :

u.co.uk
aa.co.uk
aa.org.uk
cc.co.uk
lv.co.uk
AA.co.uk domain names went to American Airlines ,while E.co.uk went to E! Entertainment Television .
The domain AA.org.uk went to ISP Andrews $ Arnold,while U.co.uk went to Ubrands .
Country Casuals bought CC.co.uk and Liverpool Victoria bought LV.co.uk .
