Nominet releases its 2009 Domain Name Industry Report

Nominet,UK's domain name registry, has just released its 2009 Domain Name Industry Report .

According to the report there were 187.6 domain names registered all over the world at the end of September.This demonstrates that it is an 8% increase from September 2008.
As for the country code top level domain names.it seems that the size of the .cn registry has decreased by 0,5% in 2009,even though last year China was the leading ccTLD.
So,here is the way things stand fot the ccTLDs :

    Growth in the top 20 ccTLDs is 9,5%
    Growth in ccTLDs outside the top is 15%
    Net growth in ccTLDs is 10%
    The top 20 ccTLDs account for 82% of all ccTLDs
