Nominet, the national registry for .uk domain names, has appointed Simon McCalla as Director of IT.
Simon joins Nominet with over 15 years’ experience in information technology within global enterprises including The White Company, Warner Bros Studio Entertainment Group and Cap Gemini. In 2006, McCalla was appointed as director of application services at Warner Bros, where he was responsible for the development and management of their global Category Management and Vendor Managed Inventory systems.
On his Nominet role, Simon McCalla comments: "Nominet’s investment in the DNS infrastructure, innovative technology such as ENUM[1], and its employees, is outstanding.
