The need for migration
So many people are now using the internet for so many things, that soon it will not be possible to create any more internet addresses using the existing protocol (IPv4). To prevent this leading to problems, a new addressing system, IPv6, has been developed. It is very important that Dutch businesses, internet service providers, government bodies, educational establishments and private individuals recognise that they are going to have to switch over to the new system very soon and that they can and should take prompt action to make the change viable and affordable."
