On Thursday 25 November, the second annual IPv6 Awards will be presented to the best Dutch implementations of the new Internet Protocol. And the IPv6 Task Force, which organises the award scheme, is inviting internet service providers, government bodies, educational establishments and private individuals to put themselves forward for one of this year’s prizes.
Nominations need to be in before 1 November to qualify for one of the attractive prizes.
Prizes by category
Business: €10,000
Government & not-for-profit: the winner of this category receives a week’s senior consultancy, at the prize-winner’s convenience
Education & research establishments: €15,000
Internet service providers: €15,000
Private individuals: the winner of this category will receive a laptop with one year’s free mobile internet and KPN Hotspot access
Publication & research curriculum: the winner of this category will receive a laptop with one year’s free mobile internet and KPN Hotspot access
The jury’s choice of nominees will take account of motivation, relevance, dedication, implementation and impact. The prizes are being made available by KPN, Stichting NLnet, SIDN, Stratix, SURFnet and XS4ALL.
The awards will be presented on Thursday 25 November during the ECP-EPN annual congress at the Fortis Circus Theatre in Scheveningen, the Netherlands.
