Britain's Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA)
has welcomed a recent report that found more than three-quarters (77%)
of all Whois records for five of the generic Top Level Domains (.COM,
.ORG, .NET, .INFO and .BIZ) are filled with at least partially
inaccurate information.
A controversial domain name registrant is annoying some of
Australia's largest companies by registering their domain names in
obscure country code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs) and then attempting to
sell the domain names to them at vastly inflated prices.

In the first week of March, DNSSEC technology was introduced for more
than 70,000 .CZ domains. With over 87,000 signed domains, the CZ.NIC
Association, the .CZ registry, has the most domain names with DNSSEC
protecting their domain names.
