Yahoo has recently filed a UDRP complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for the domain name 4Yahoo.com .

The two letter .ORG domain name ,MD.ORG was sold for $555,650 via Namejet .This is probably the all time record for a sale on Namejet .

Total global domain name registrations passed the quarter billion mark in the final quarter of 2012, reaching 252 million, an increase of 26.6 million or 11.8 percent for the year, according to the latest Verisign Domain Name Industry Brief. For the fourth quarter, registrations grew by 6.1 million or 2.5 percent.
