An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center awarded MicrosoftSkype.org domain name to Microsoft.Microsoft ,submitted a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name .
Microsoft owns many trademark registrations for the "Microsoft" mark.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.Moreover,the company managed to demonstrate that the respondent registered and used the domain name in bad faith .The Panel ordered the disputed domain name to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant .
The domain name resolves now to a Chinese registrar.
