Microsoft, the United States-based multinational computer technology corporation has recently won a domain name case against Prabhjot Singh . The corporation submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum, requesting the disputed domain name to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
Bing is the current web search engine from Microsoft. Therefore,Microsoft has applied to register the "Bing" trademark in a number of jurisdictions in including United States and Trademark Office.
Therefore, the complainant contended in the complaint that the domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.
Moreover, they contended that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith.
"Respondent’s registration and use of the disputed domain name to link Internet users to websites featuring third-party links and profit through the receipt of click-through fees, thus creating a strong likelihood of confusion with Complainant’s BING trademark, is evidence of bad faith pursuant registration and use of the contested domain name."

Because the respondent failed to submit a response in this proceeding and because the complainant managed to demonstrate all the elements needed, the Panel decided the disputed domain name to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
