According to whois records ,Google owned the domain name until June 16,2011 .However,as of 18 June 2011,Microsoft is listed as the owner of Sitemaps.org .
The domain name resolves to a website that gives information about sitemaps,such as definition and answers to frequent questions .
According to Jamie Zoch from Dotweekly,the domain name resided on Yahoo servers a while ago .
