MGM Resorts International has recently won a trademark infringement case over the Internet domain name NewYorkNewYork.com .
MGM Resorts International owns the hotel-casino New York-New York on the Las Vegas Strip .
The attorneys contended in the complaint that the domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark and that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith .
Moreover,it seems that the domain name owner has to pay $101,000 for violating the Anti Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) .
