Lottery.net was the big seller in Domain Name Journal’s list of top
reported sales for the week to 15 August, selling for $220,000 through
Sedo. Second on the list was the only other six-figure sale for the
week, XI.com, which sold for $100,930 through Moniker. In third place
was KissingGames.com, just missing out in six-figures, selling for
$98,300 in a private sale.
Overall, Sedo had 11 of the top 20 sales for the week, .COM domain names accounted for 13 of the top 20 while tracker.at (€18,000/$23,220) was the top ccTLD sale of the week. Overall there were five ccTLD sales in the top 20 list.
