Hoffmann-La Roche,one of the leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical and diagnostic products in the world,has won the domain name acutane.com at arbitration.
Although the complainant is the owner of the trademark "accutane",on the acutane.com website there are a number of links to several commercial websites including websites for pharmaceutical products.
In their complaint,Hoffmann-La Roche said that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to their "Accutane" trademark ,containing only one letter less .More,they believe that the respondent is using the website to confuse customers and direct them to the information or offers of their competitors.
Because the respondent did not reply to the Complainant’s contentions,the Panel decided the domain name acutane.com to be transfered to the complainant.
