The British high fashion house,Jimmy Choo Ltd. ,filed three complaints with WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center to change possession rights for three domain names .
The five domain names disputed were: jimmy-choo-shoes.com,jimmychoos.net and jimmychoolondon.com .
The fashion house owns many trademark registrations for the "Jimmy Choo" mark.Therefore,they contended that the respondents registered domain names similar to its trademark and used them in bad faith to acquire monetary profit.
The Panel decided that the respondents were trying to gain personal profit on the strength of a registered trademark and ruled in favor of Jimmy Choo in all three cases.
