An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has awarded two JimmyChoo247.com domain name to Jimmy Choo .
Jimmy Choo owns many trademark registrations for the "Jimmy Choo" mark.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark .Moreover,Jimmy Choo contended that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith :"Respondent’s website, as far as the record shows, does nothing to disclaim any affiliation with Complainant, and purports to sell numerous Jimmy Choo shoes, as well as shoes made by Complainant’s competitors. This is classic intentional diversion of Internet users to a mistaken website by means of confusion between the legitimate merchandiser’s mark and the subject domain name."
The Panel ordered the disputed domain name be transferred from the respondent to the complainant .
