ICANN announced yesterday that its 19-24 June 2011 Public Meeting will be held in Singapore .ICANN cancelled a while ago the June Meeting scheduled for Jordan due to safety reason and decided to move the meeting in Singapore.
The meeting will take place in Singapore,June 19th-24th 2011 .
ICANN canceled the meeting to be held in Jordan following the unrest across the Middle East,including in Jordan .
"The Board reluctantly made its decision after closely monitoring the rapidly changing developments affecting the Middle East.The decision reflects the Board's view that regional developments could have a negative impact on attendance at the meeting," announced ICANN in a blog posting a while ago .
More details of the Singapore meeting will be revealed in the coming days .
