After ICANN approved the new gTLD program,they released a video which explaining what the new gTLD program is all about .
ICANN's Board of Directors approved one of the biggest changes ever to the Internet Domain Name System . From now on,Internet address names will end with almost any word and in any language .The new video,released by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN),names "Get Ready for the Next Big .Thing:An overview of New gTLDs" explains the basic of the new gTLDs to potential applicants .
For now,the video is available only in English.However,the video is being produced in Arabic,Chinese,French,Russian and Spanish .All these versions will be available by 1 August 2011 .

20 June,2011 - Comms Period begins
12 January,2012 - Launch Program (Application Window Opens)
12 April 2012 - Application Window Closes
November 2012 - Planned :Publish Initial Evaluation Results
