The Board of Directors of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) decided to give green light to three new top level internationalized domain names : Serbia (.срб), Morocco (.المغرب, “al-Maghreb”) and Algeria (.الجزائر, “al-Jazairi”) .
Even though the three top-level internationalized domain names received the green light from ICANN,this doesn't mean the start of operating the domains .It might take a several months until the three new top-level internationalized domain names will be open for registrations .
For example,the .РФ top-level internationalized domain name was delegated to the Coordination Center on 12 May,2010 ,while the open registration was launched on 11 November 2010,six months later .
30 IDNs have passed the approval procedure,for the moment .
