The ccTLD manager for .HN (Honduras), RDS-HN has refuted claims they
should give up managing the ccTLD and sought to reassure registrants
that they will continue in their current role as ccTLD manager.
In their statement advising registrants they will continue to manage
the .HN ccTLD, RDS-HN said the Domain Registries Center in Honduras
(.HN) is a legally constituted entity according to the laws of the
State of Honduras and that the administration of the ccTLD has been
delegated to them by ICANN since 1993.
They also advise that the agreement is legally binding and carries with
it obligations and responsibilities to its third party users of their
services.
