Rajan Zed,a highly respected Hindu Statesman, stated in Nevada that is simply unwise to allow domains based on religion or denomination. He added that the religion must be kept out of Internet domain names
system, risking otherwise to create more conflicts in a world full of
disputes.
Zed,the president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, warned Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) about what can happen if they allow new Internet domains such as .muslim, .hindu, .budhist , .jew and many others.
Therefore ,he quoted article 2.1 (b) of ICANN GAC Principles Regarding New gTLDs, which says: "New gTLDs should respect the sensitivities regarding terms with national, cultural, geographic and religious significance."
