"As you may have already known, Rod Beckstrom, the CEO of ICANN has publicly announced his decision to leave ICANN in July of 2012.
It reminds me of the good old days when I ran the show at SnapNames and was able to make decisions for the good of the company.
Of course, those days are now in my distant past as I am a changed man and I have no desire to go back to tweaking the outcome of domain auctions.
But I'd like to share with you that I will be considering applying for the position of CEO at ICANN, once Rod Beckstrom steps down. I am equally capable of creating controversy and I believe I am able to deliver matching sub-standard results.
Of course, I am only kidding; a CEO's duty is to perform for the company and the shareholders and I would do my best to outrank any past and present ICANN CEO. I know I can, because I am a man of convictions, who has reached out to the average domainer: you. "
