Google,an American public corporation, earning revenue from advertising and many others ,submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum ,requesting the domain name googlewebmarketing.com to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
As we all know ,Google owns many registered trademarks all over the world. Therefore, the complainant contended the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its "Google" mark .
Moreover , as noted in the complaint "Respondent’s disputed domain name resolves to a website that competes with Complainant by providing website design and marketing services for commercial gain."So,Google managed to demonstrate that the disputed domain name was registered and used in bad faith.
For all the foregoing reasons and because the respondent failed to submit a response in this proceeding, the Panel ordered the disputed domain name ,googlewebmarketing.com, to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
