Now that General Availability is open,brands are rushing to secure their .XXX domain names.Google made no exception and decided to acquire YouTube.XXX domain name .
This doesn't mean the domain name will resolve to a porn site in the future.This could only be a move to protect their brand.For now Youtube.XXX domain name leads nowhere .However,it is also possible Google to surprise everybody and to launch YouTube.xxx .
The company didn't want to comment on this story.
.XXX domain names became available for public sale on December 6,2011.
