Google removed over 11 million .CO.CC domain names from its results.The company considered that there are too many "spammy" .CO.CC websites .
According to The Register , .CO.CC domain names are being offered by a Korean company,that owns the domain name .co.cc .Moreover,the company offers bulk registrations of 15,000 addresses for $10,000 .According to the same article , ".cc top-level domain hosted 4,963 phishing attacks in the second half of 2010, almost twice the number found under any other extension."
