Four in five (81%) global brands who intend to apply for a new
generic Top Level Domain intend to use the gTLD as their default domain
name according to a World Trademark Review study reported in The
Domains.
The survey also asked whether the respondent's client or company would
apply for a gTLD when ICANN begins taking applications in 2011, with
over half (54%) responding that with the "Yes", "It's likely" or "Maybe"
options.
