SedoCares’ Wishing Well Promotion :
In the domain industry, we deal with property that can’t be touched and we build relationships with people we may never meet. Well, isn’t it about time we join together and unite beyond the marketplace? It is with this question in mind, that we created SedoCares, a new Sedo team that will be proactively working in response to social and environmental causes that affect us all. With a world of resources at our fingertips, we can make a difference that can be felt on a global level. To take the introduction a step further, we would like to include our Sedo member’s in our first project, the SedoCares’ “Wishing Well” promotion. With this promotion, you’ll have the chance to win thousands of dollars and the opportunity to aid Sedo in helping an Ethiopian village gain access to clean water. After all, what better way to express what SedoCares represents, than to work together with our Sedo community to create positive change for those in need?
About the Promotion: For the month of August, Sedo will contribute 10 USD/EUR/GBP to the SedoCares’ “Wishing Well” for every transaction closed for 1,000 USD/EUR/GBP or more through Sedo. For every transaction closed under 1,000 USD/EUR/GBP we will contribute 1 USD/EUR/GBP. The currency contributed is dependent on the currency agreed upon for the sale of the domain name. At the end of the month half of the money in the “Wishing Well” will be donated to CHF International an organization that works in response to the drought occurring in Ethiopia and the other half will be given at random to a buyer or seller who closed a transaction through Sedo between August 1st, 6 p.m. EST and August 31st, 6 p.m. EST*. Buyers and sellers have the chance to win up to 7,500 USD. If the winner resides in North America they will receive their winnings in US Dollars, otherwise the prize will be in Euros or GBP. The more transactions a buyer or seller closes during the month, the more chances they have to win!
No entry is necessary; just by closing a transaction you are guaranteed the chance to win. Beyond the cash prize, your transactions have the ability to create global change.
About the Cause: The money donated through SedoCares’ “Wishing Well” Promotion will be contributing to CHF Interna-tional’s relief efforts to rehabilitate natural springs and build a new well for over 30,000 villagers in Dha-bardulel, Ethiopia.
