The Wedding Present for Jenna and Henry
I don't know about you, but I was really stuck for what to buy Jenna
Bush and her beau Henry Hager for their wedding present last weekend.
So I was very taken by the report of Jeff Jones who offered Jenna and
Henry the domain name HenryandJennaHager.com. And not only he did offer
it to them, he offered it to them for free!
"When I saw their engagement announcement I started looking to see what domains were available," he says. "Several versions were already taken, but the one I wanted wasn't."
News reports of the offer say Jones tried to contact the Jenna Bush via an email address on the White House Web site with the offer to sell it for the price he paid -- $7.
But poor Jones didn't hear back, so he offered it for free in a follow-up message. Still, no response.
"I guess I'll just hold onto it until they claim it, if they ever do," he says.
The report concludes, "Jones also said he's a father of three, and his wife is a nurse, but 'they'd prefer I ride in this boat on my own. They probably wouldn't want their names aligned with my wacky ideas.'"
Wacky ideas indeed.
