After a quite successful first edition in November last year, Sedo will organize two dedicated auctions for the local TLD's .nl, .be and .lu in 2008. The first edition of 2008 will be held between the 2nd and 9th of May and its auction catalogue has been published in the meanwhile.

Some of the premium names are:
- huren.nl ('to rent')
- boxen.be ('boxing')
- dvd.lu

With almost 3 million registrations (.nl is the fourth largest ccTLD in the world) the national TLD of the Netherlands will no doubt receive most attention and its domains the highest bids during the auction. The overall quality of this editions catalogue is considerably higher then the first auction held in 2007. Especially the Dutch company 'Xout' seems to have lined up multiple premium .nl names.

The highest bid in the first auction was 46.000 euro (almost 75k USD) for www.veiling.nl, the Dutch translation for 'auction'. Taking into consideration the higher quality of the currently listed domains i believe we can expect a substantially higher total revenue at this auction then the previous one.
