This month Sedo is eager to announce the launch of the new feature-rich Offer Details Page . We took member comments and feedback into consideration during the redesign, to create new features which offer more transparency on the marketplace.The first thing to note is the new, easier-to-read page design. Learn more about who you’re doing business with by checking out the Meet the Seller section. It provides the month and year the member created their Sedo account, as well as the amount of time their domain has been listed for sale in our marketplace. We encourage members to communicate with one another, and buyers now have the option to send a comment to the seller once negotiations begin.
Make informed purchasing decisions by using the new Seller Activity Index. It displays a star ranking system from 1-5, based on a member’s transaction history and sales volume at Sedo over the past six months. Please keep in mind that a lower star ranking does not mean a seller is unreliable, they simply have sold fewer domains and websites than other members. The new Buyer Activity Index is determined by the number of offers a user has submitted, as well as the value and quantity of domains they’re purchased.
Doing business in Europe? Potential buyers can now view the VAT (Value Added Tax) status of a domain before placing a bid. VAT only applies if the seller is trading as a company which is VAT-liable. If you are a seller trading as an individual, VAT does not apply.)
We’ve also included a new feature to allow you to promote your entire portfolio. Sellers can now include a link to their entire domain portfolio at Sedo through the new Offer Details Page. At Sedo our members’ privacy is of the utmost importance. As always, your name and personal information will remain confidential and will not appear anywhere on our site.
