On The Way Home...

Currently am at San Fransisco Airport, waiting for departure. The trip to this neck of the wood turned out, as always, to be great. After DRT I stopped for half a day at Web 2.0 with friends, was not impressed with what I saw. There’s still massive amount of money flying around chasing pageviews and userbase without any business plan nor bottom line revenue consideration. I understand it works for few however for the vast majority, especially those who do not have other businesses to support this sort of game, it is extremely speculative.

Sample ImageFor me, for the first time this trip has been a combination of business and pleasure. I was able to stop at DRT, attend part of the auction, stop at Web 2.0, meet with many new and old business associates, connect with old friends, visit for the second time wineries in Napa Valley, celebrate the Seder with Chabad of San Fransisco (Thanks Rabbi Potash for the amazing hospitality!), got to the San Fransisco symphony , sailing the bay , visit Sausalito for the first time, find new and exciting restaurants, and of course spent more time with Alyette , my girlfriend.

TRAFFIC is just around the corner and I know over there it isn’t going to be anything close to what this trip looks like. TRAFFIC for us is all about business, maintaining relationships, building relationships, looking for opportunities.

Overall this trip was extremely fun, love this area, and looking forward to spend more time around here.
