Media General is offering buyouts to staff, according to Ron Jackson's latest Lowdown post.

Media General is the parent company of the Tampa Tribune WFLA Channel 8 News. Jackson says this all part of the downsizing of newspapers nationwide as advertisers spend more and more online.
